David Pastrnak, the leading scorer for the Boston Bruins, exited Monday's game against the Washington Capitals due to an undisclosed upper-body injury in the second period and did not return.
Coach Joe Sacco indicated that further information on Pastrnak's condition would be available later. The injury occurred after a collision with Capitals forward Tom Wilson, and despite briefly returning to the ice, Pastrnak was eventually ruled unlikely to return to the game.
