Nicolas Aube-Kubel of the Buffalo Sabres is set to return to action after recovering from a lower-body injury sustained in the season opener. Coach Lindy Ruff indicated that Aube-Kubel has been practicing and could be placed on a line with Dylan Cozens and Jack Quinn.
The forward was initially projected to be sidelined for three to six weeks following his injury during a game against the New Jersey Devils. Aube-Kubel, who has previously played with multiple teams, brings considerable experience and physicality to the ice.
