The Calgary Flames honored the late Johnny Gaudreau during a heartfelt game against the Columbus Blue Jackets, winning 3-0. Goals from Rasmus Andersson, Kevin Bahl, and Yegor Sharangovich secured the victory, while the Gaudreau family, including Johnny's parents and wife, attended the event.
A pregame ceremony featured a video tribute and a ceremonial puck drop by Johnny's father, Guy Gaudreau. Meredith Gaudreau shared her emotional connection to Calgary, getting her husband's signature tattooed as a tribute.
The Flames paid homage by wearing Gaudreau's name and number during warmups, while goaltender Dan Vladar donned a special mask in memory of Johnny and his brother Matthew, who tragically passed away earlier this year.
