Nathan MacKinnon shone with a goal and three assists as the Colorado Avalanche triumphed over the Carolina Hurricanes 6-4, ending Carolina's eight-game winning streak.

Mikko Rantanen contributed two goals and an assist, while Cale Makar, Artturi Lehkonen, and Sam Malinski also found the net for Colorado. Despite a strong performance from Jordan Martinook, who scored twice for Carolina, the Hurricanes could not maintain their lead.
