The Chicago Blackhawks have recalled top prospect Frank Nazar from the AHL's Rockford after an impressive start to the season. Nazar, who was selected 13th overall in the 2022 draft, had 11 goals and 13 assists in just 21 games.

In a corresponding move, defenseman Alec Martinez has been placed on injured reserve due to a neck injury. General manager Kyle Davidson praised Nazar's performance, noting he has been a bright spot for the team.
