The Calgary Flames have welcomed veteran defenceman Tyson Barrie to their training camp on a professional tryout basis.

Last season, Barrie registered one goal and 14 assists over 41 games while playing for the Nashville Predators. Throughout the 2022-23 season, he amassed 55 points in 75 games across two teams.

In addition, the Flames have secured Jarred Tinordi with a one-year, two-way contract after his stint with the Chicago Blackhawks.
