The Edmonton Oilers signed Viktor Arvidsson to a two-year contract and extended Connor Brown's contract. Arvidsson, a right-winger previously with the Los Angeles Kings, was persuaded by defenceman Mattias Ekholm to join the Oilers. Brown, known for his playoff performance, signed for $1 million. Josh Brown, James Hamblin, Noah Philp, and Noel Hoefenmayer also signed deals with the team.
