Mattias Ekholm netted the overtime winner as the Edmonton Oilers edged the Boston Bruins 3-2 on Thursday, overcoming a rough start.

Leon Draisaitl contributed three assists, marking his 900th career NHL point, while Zach Hyman and Connor McDavid also found the net for the Oilers, who have been on a hot streak with nine wins in their last 11 games.

The Bruins saw their two-game winning streak come to an end, despite goals from Elias Lindholm and Mark Kastelic.
