The Edmonton Oilers have officially signed 18-year-old forward Sam O’Reilly to a three-year entry-level contract.

Selected 32nd overall in the NHL Draft last June, O’Reilly had a brief stint with the Oilers, scoring one goal in four pre-season games before being reassigned to the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League.

Last season, he recorded an impressive 56 points in 68 games with the Knights.
