The NHL preseason is nearing its end, leading to final roster cuts and players being placed on waivers. The Chicago Blackhawks have recently sent several players to the AHL, including former team members Reese Johnson and Collin Delia.
Reese Johnson, who played 42 games with the Blackhawks last season, has signed a one-year deal with the Minnesota Wild. Meanwhile, Collin Delia, a former Blackhawks goalie, has joined the Edmonton Oilers but is unlikely to see much NHL action. Additionally, Madison Bowey, another ex-Blackhawk, has returned to the AHL with the New York Rangers.
