Filip Cederqvist, a hockey player from Sweden, fulfilled his dream of playing for the Montreal Canadiens after being traded from the Buffalo Sabres. Cederqvist has made a strong impression in his first few games with the Laval Rocket, recording a goal and an assist. He hopes to continue his development and eventually make it to the NHL.

The Rocket, currently sitting fifth in their division, will face the Rochester Americans in two important home games before the AHL all-star break.
