Patrik Laine achieved his first hat trick with the Montreal Canadiens, leading them to a decisive 6-1 victory over the Buffalo Sabres, who have now gone 11 games without a win.

In addition to Laine, Juraj Slafkovsky, Joel Armia, and Josh Anderson also scored for Montreal, while Cole Caufield and Nick Suzuki contributed with two assists each. Dylan Cozens was the lone scorer for Buffalo.
