While no current Montreal Canadiens' prospects will represent Team Canada at the World Junior Championship, several former Canadiens will participate in the 2024 Spengler Cup in Davos, Switzerland, starting December 26.

Logan Shaw, Daniel Carr, Charles Hudon, and Phillipe Maillet, all with ties to the Canadiens, will be showcasing their skills. Shaw, who played briefly with the Canadiens, now plays for the Toronto Marlies. Carr, with a history in the NHL, currently plays for Lugano in Switzerland. Hudon has had a notable NHL career, while Maillet recently played for the Laval Rocket.
