Scott Wedgewood, now with the Avalanche, previously signed a two-year deal with Nashville in July after spending three seasons with the Stars. This season, he recorded a 1-2-1 record with a 3.69 goals-against average and is expected to compete with Alexandar Georgiev for playing time in Colorado's net. Wedgewood played a career-high 32 games in the 2023-24 season before being replaced by Casey DeSmith in Dallas.
