Timo Meier of the New Jersey Devils has received a one-game suspension without pay for cross-checking Zachary L'Heureux of the Nashville Predators during a recent match.

The NHL's Department of Player Safety confirmed the suspension, which occurred in the third period of the game. As a result, Meier will forfeit $45,833, which will be directed to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
