Coach Sam Hallam announced the updates, also confirming that Samuel Ersson from Philadelphia will replace Jacob Markstrom due to injury. Rakell, currently leading the Penguins with 23 goals in 53 games this season, has been praised for his all-around game and commitment to defensive play.
