David Pastrnak and David Kampf scored to lead the Czech Republic to a 2-0 victory over Switzerland in the ice hockey world championship.

Pastrnak's first goal of the tournament and Kampf's empty-netter secured the win. Czech goaltender Lukas Dostal stopped 31 shots for the shutout, marking the seventh title for Czechia since 1993.
