Ottawa Senators forward Ridly Greig has secured his future with a new four-year contract extension valued at $13 million. The 22-year-old was on the brink of becoming a restricted free agent at the end of the current season, but this deal ensures his place with the team for the next few years.
Greig is currently in the final year of his three-year entry-level contract and has made a notable impact in this season with 12 points, consisting of six goals and six assists, in 37 games. In his young career, he has accumulated a total of 47 points, including 21 goals and 26 assists, over 129 games since being drafted by the Senators as the 28th overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft.
