The Ottawa Senators have officially secured forward Ridly Greig with a significant four-year contract extension worth $13 million, averaging $3.25 million annually. This move comes as Greig, a promising talent at just 22 years old, has established himself in the NHL, playing 129 games over three seasons.
During the 2023-24 season, Greig achieved his career highs, participating in 72 games and accumulating 13 goals, 13 assists, and totaling 26 points in what marked his first complete NHL season. The Senators, however, are currently struggling, having lost four consecutive games and six out of their last seven, heading into a matchup against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
