The Philadelphia Flyers have three unrestricted free agents on their NHL roster this offseason. While Marc Staal and Denis Gurianov are expected to hit the open market, Erik Johnson, acquired from the Buffalo Sabres, may be re-signed by the Flyers. Although Johnson brings experience and effectiveness to the team, the Flyers are facing a roster fit issue with a log jam on defense.
