The Bridgeport Islanders, AHL affiliate of the New York Islanders, lost 3-0 to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. Long Island native Marshall Warren debuted with three shots. Cal Peterson had a 23-save shutout for the Phantoms.

Phantoms scored with goals from Desnoyers and Brooks. Bobby Brink scored an empty-net goal. Bridgeport went 0-1 on power play and 1-1 on penalty kill, finishing the season series 2-2-1-1 against the Phantoms.
