The Texas Stars, AHL affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars, defeated the San Jose Barracuda 2-1 in overtime with two goals from Matej Blumel. Blumel scored his 30th season goal becoming the 7th player in team history to do so.

San Jose had a 1-0 lead in the second period, but Blumel's power play goal tied the score. With just 1:49 into overtime, Blumel sealed the win for the Stars. Texas will play the final two regular-season games against the Manitoba Moose.
