Timo Meier's tiebreaking goal in the third period propelled the New Jersey Devils to a 3-2 victory over the Seattle Kraken. Jesper Bratt celebrated his 500th career game with a goal and an assist, while Luke Hughes netted his first goal of the season. The Devils have now won six of their last eight games.

Despite the loss, Andre Burakovsky and Shane Wright scored for the Kraken, who ended a two-game win streak. Philipp Grubauer made a season-high 34 saves in the defeat.
