Jessica Campbell has made history by becoming the first woman to serve as a full-time on-bench coach in the NHL, starting with the Seattle Kraken's opening game of the 2024-2025 season against the St. Louis Blues.

Previously an assistant coach for the Kraken's AHL affiliate, Campbell was brought on by head coach Dan Bylsma after his promotion. She is recognized for her strong relationships with players and her commitment to paving the way for other women in hockey coaching roles.
