Max Pacioretty has signed a one-year contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs after impressing during a professional tryout. The 35-year-old forward, previously with the Washington Capitals, has a rich career with 330 goals and 668 points in 902 NHL games.
Additionally, the Leafs have secured Steven Lorentz on a one-year deal and extended Cade Webber's contract. Lorentz, a Stanley Cup winner with the Florida Panthers, will earn $775,000, while Webber's two-year extension is valued at $825,000 annually.
