The Toronto Maple Leafs are facing a significant challenge as goaltender Anthony Stolarz, who currently leads the NHL in save percentage, is set to undergo knee surgery that will keep him out for four to six weeks.
Stolarz sustained the injury during a recent game against the Anaheim Ducks. Although an MRI showed no structural damage, a loose body in his knee requires removal. In his absence, Joseph Woll will step up as the primary goalie, supported by Dennis Hildeby.
