The Maple Leafs’ top two prospects in junior hockey – Fraser Minten and Easton Cowan – will meet new guy Ben Danford at the team's development camp. Danford, a top pick from the OHL's Oshawa Generals, will join others from the 2024 draft class. Cowan and Minten are expected to challenge for jobs on the Leafs’ roster this year.
Leafs invited 27 forwards, 15 defencemen, and four goaltenders to the four-day camp. Notables include defenceman Cade Webber and winger Nikita Grebenkin. Hayley Wickenheiser, assistant general manager of player development will oversee the camp.
