Wes Clark, the chief amateur scout who found draft gems for the Toronto Maple Leafs, has left for the Pittsburgh Penguins. Former Leafs GM Kyle Dubas, now with the Penguins, poached him as vice president of player personnel.
Dubas hired Clark in Toronto in 2014. Clark ran successful drafts for the Leafs with limited picks, leaving a legacy that is now paying off, especially with players like Fraser Minten and Bed Danford.
