Elias Pettersson marked his 26th birthday with a stellar performance, scoring a power-play goal and assisting on another as the Vancouver Canucks triumphed over the Calgary Flames 3-1.

Pius Suter also contributed a goal, while J.T. Miller recorded two assists. Vancouver's Kevin Lankinen made 27 saves to improve his record, while Calgary's Dan Vladar stopped 29 shots.

Jonathan Lekkerimaki made his Canucks debut, filling in for the injured Brock Boeser.
