The Washington Capitals have re-assigned right-winger Terik Parascak to the Prince George Cougars of the WHL. The 18-year-old had a standout season, leading all CHL rookies with 43 goals and 105 points, earning a spot on the 2024 CHL All-Rookie Team.
His impressive scoring marks the highest for a CHL rookie since Patrick Kane and Sam Gagner in 2006-07. Parascak was selected 20th overall in the NHL Draft and participated in one preseason game with the Capitals, where he recorded a primary assist.
