Nino Niederreiter netted two goals and Gabriel Vilardi contributed three assists as the Winnipeg Jets triumphed over the Calgary Flames 5-2 in a pre-season clash.
The Jets broke a 2-2 deadlock with Niederreiter's go-ahead goal in the third period, while Nikolaj Ehlers added a goal and an assist. Connor Hellebuyck, the Vezina Trophy winner, made 17 saves in his second pre-season outing.
Calgary's Dustin Wolf, expected to be the regular-season starter, recorded 22 saves in the loss.
