This shutout is Comrie's first of the season and third of his career. The Jets' power play was potent, contributing two goals to their tally, with Nino Niederreiter and Neal Pionk both finding the back of the net, extending Winnipeg's lead in the league with 51 power-play goals this season.

Rasmus Kupari also scored for the Jets, while Niederreiter added an assist, enhancing the attacking display witnessed by 13,802 fans at Canada Life Centre. The Jets are now just one victory away from equaling their best win streak of eight games set at the start of the season. Although Carolina held the NHL's top penalty kill, they were unable to thwart Winnipeg’s special teams, with the Jets converting 2 out of 4 chances.
