Michael Fulmer, the 2016 AL Rookie of the Year, is set to join the Boston Red Sox as a non-roster invitee for spring training. The 31-year-old right-hander is looking to bounce back after missing last season due to elbow surgery.

In addition to Fulmer, several other players have received spring training invitations, including catcher Seby Zavala and infielder/outfielder Nate Eaton. Notably, Bryan Mata, once Boston's top pitching prospect, is also looking to return after an injury-plagued 2023.
