The Seattle Mariners have revamped their coaching staff, bringing in Kevin Seitzer from the Atlanta Braves as the new hitting coach and promoting Edgar Martinez to Senior Director of Hitting Strategy.

Eric Young Jr. returns to the Mariners as the first base coach, after a successful stint with the Washington Nationals. Young, known for his speed during his playing career, will also oversee base running, a role he excelled in with Washington.
