Owner Arte Moreno confirmed that the team will raise its payroll, and for the first time, local fans can purchase a streaming-only subscription. This deal provides the Angels with guaranteed revenue for three years and the potential to join a national streaming package in the future.

Despite the bankruptcy proceedings of FanDuel's parent company, the Angels hold an ownership stake in the channel and remain unaffected. Moreno emphasized the importance of keeping star players like Mike Trout and Anthony Rendon healthy and on the field to maximize the team's performance.
