The Philadelphia Phillies reinstated star catcher J.T. Realmuto from the injured list after his right meniscus surgery. Realmuto has been batting .261 with seven homers and 20 RBIs this season. He recently hit in 17 consecutive games.

On the same day, the Phillies recalled right-hander Yunior Marte, optioning catcher Rafael Marchan and righty Michael Mercado to Triple-A.
