Hoby Milner has signed a one-year contract worth $2.5 million with the Texas Rangers, the team he grew up supporting in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

The left-handed reliever, who is set to turn 34, can earn up to $500,000 in performance bonuses based on his innings pitched.

Milner has had a solid career, appearing in 201 games over the last three seasons with the Milwaukee Brewers, and boasts a career record of 10-5 with a 3.82 ERA.
