Kyle Schwarber and Bryce Harper both hit home runs for the Philadelphia Phillies in a 9-3 win over the San Diego Padres. Aaron Nola pitched brilliantly, striking out 10. Both Harper and Jurickson Profar were shaken up in a tag play, but remained in the game.

Schwarber's home run was his 100th in a Phillies uniform, doing so in 342 games. The Phillies took a 6-0 lead with additional home runs from Harper, Brandon Marsh, and Nick Castellanos. Manny Machado returned to play for the Padres after being on paternity leave.
