In return, the Yankees acquired reliever Fernando Cruz and catcher Alex Jackson. Trevino, who joined the Yankees from the Texas Rangers in 2022, played 243 games, showcasing his skills with a .230 batting average, 23 home runs, and a Gold Glove award for his defensive prowess.
