The Los Angeles Dodgers are set to lose starting pitcher Walker Buehler and may part ways with Jack Flaherty as well. Following the unsuccessful pursuit of Corbin Burnes, the Baltimore Orioles are reportedly interested in Flaherty, who previously played for them in 2023. Despite a challenging stint in Baltimore, Flaherty's strong performance with the Dodgers has sparked mutual interest in a reunion.
Flaherty is seeking a long-term contract, potentially a five-year deal, after posting a 3.17 ERA and 194 strikeouts last season. The Dodgers, however, are unlikely to retain him as they continue to explore roster improvements ahead of spring training.
