Following the unsuccessful pursuit of Corbin Burnes, the Baltimore Orioles are reportedly interested in Flaherty, who previously played for them in 2023. Despite a challenging stint in Baltimore, Flaherty's strong performance with the Dodgers has sparked mutual interest in a reunion.

Flaherty is seeking a long-term contract, potentially a five-year deal, after posting a 3.17 ERA and 194 strikeouts last season. The Dodgers, however, are unlikely to retain him as they continue to explore roster improvements ahead of spring training.
