The NBA is reportedly shifting its All-Star Game format to a four-team tournament, featuring a pickup-style competition. Two semifinal games will be played to 40 points, while the championship will be to 25 points. The 2025 All-Star Game is set for February 16 at the Golden State Warriors' Chase Center.
Three All-Star teams, each with eight players, will compete alongside the winner of the Rising Stars Challenge. Coaching duties will fall to the top teams' coaches from both conferences. This change comes after last year's game was criticized for its lack of competitiveness.
