CBS is shaking up 'The NFL Today' show, with Boomer Esiason and Phil Simms not returning. Matt Ryan will join the pregame panel alongside analysts Bill Cowher and Nate Burleson, and host James Brown.

Esiason had been with the show for 22 years and announced his departure on his radio morning show. Simms, a former New York Giants quarterback, joined in 2017. Ryan, who played most of his career with the Atlanta Falcons, retired last week.
