The Oklahoma City Thunder traded Josh Giddey to the Chicago Bulls for guard Alex Caruso. Giddey was investigated for accusations of an improper relationship with an underage girl but the NBA and police found no corroborating evidence.
Giddey's performance declined this season but improved after the Thunder acquired Gordon Hayward. Despite being booed on the road, he was the No. 6 overall pick in 2021 and made the All-Rookie second team.
Australia's national team member, Giddey is known for his exceptional passing and rebounding skills. Caruso, known for his defensive prowess, played for the Lakers and Bulls with career averages of 6.8 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 2.9 assists.
