Oklahoma City Thunder center Bismack Biyombo collapsed near the team’s bench during a game against the Portland Trail Blazers but was cleared of serious medical issues. The Thunder still held him out as a precaution. Biyombo, in his 13th season, has played for six teams and is now with the Thunder.
The Thunder defeated the Trail Blazers 128-120 behind a 37-point performance from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Despite the incident, the Thunder shot over 58% from the field as a team. The Trail Blazers have now lost two consecutive games and hold a 17-44 record for the season.
