NBA teams made up for the lack of trade action on draft night with a flurry of moves Thursday. The New York Knicks finalized multiple trades, acquiring picks and players. Miami Heat also acquired rights to a player, Pelle Larsson. Charlotte Hornets made a trade for Reggie Jackson from Denver.
Indiana made a deal with San Antonio to move up one spot for Kansas forward Johnny Furphy at No. 35. Atlanta Hawks made French teen Zaccharie Risacher the No. 1 overall pick. Dallas and Detroit also made significant moves during the draft night.
