The 2023-2024 NBA season marked a significant transition for Filip Petrusev, who began with the Philadelphia 76ers but quickly found himself traded to the Los Angeles Clippers and then to the Sacramento Kings.

After struggling to find his footing in the NBA, Petrusev was waived by the Kings and subsequently pursued a new opportunity in Greece with Olympiacos. Here, he averaged eight points and three rebounds in 22 games.

Petrusev, previously of Crvena Zvezda in Serbia, is expected to play for them again while continuing his contract with Olympiacos, aiming to develop his skills overseas after a challenging stint in the NBA.
