The Calgary Flames have re-signed Cole Schwindt to a one-year, two-way contract valued at $800,000 at the NHL level.
Schwindt, a 23-year-old from Kitchener, Ont., debuted with the Flames last season, playing four games. He also had a successful stint with the Calgary Wranglers, posting 14 goals and 22 assists over 66 games in the AHL, and led his team in playoff scoring.
