Elias Pettersson celebrated his 26th birthday with a power-play goal and an assist, leading the Vancouver Canucks to a 3-1 victory over the Calgary Flames.

Pius Suter also contributed a goal, while J.T. Miller provided two assists. The Flames' lone goal came from Justin Kirkland.

Canucks goaltender Kevin Lankinen made 27 saves, improving his record to 8-1-2, while Calgary's Dan Vladar stopped 29 shots.
