Jesper Fast has undergone neck surgery that will keep him sidelined for the entire 2024-25 season. The 32-year-old forward, who joined the Carolina Hurricanes in 2020, suffered the injury during the final regular season game against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Last season, he recorded six goals, 13 assists, and 19 points while averaging 12:36 minutes of ice time. Fast began his NHL career with the Rangers, where he played seven seasons and amassed 147 points.
