After not securing an NHL contract, former Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Tony DeAngelo has signed a one-year deal with SKA St. Petersburg in the KHL.
In his debut on September 27, DeAngelo excelled, contributing three assists and achieving a plus-6 rating in an 8-5 victory over Severstal Cherepovets. His standout moment was assisting Ivan Demidov's goal, showcasing his exceptional vision on the ice.
DeAngelo aims to leverage this strong start to potentially earn another NHL contract next season.
